II. Research Institute Introduction

The Zoom Solar Green Energy Technology-Xi'an Jiaotong University Thin Film Battery Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") is a high-level research institution established through friendly consultation between Xi'an Jiaotong University and Zoom Solar Green Energy Technology (Xi'an) Co., Ltd., based on the principles of "long-term cooperation, in-depth collaboration, and shared mission." This innovative collaboration model and talent development mechanism are in place.

The Institute aims to leverage Xi'an Jiaotong University's academic heritage and talent pool in materials chemistry, as well as Zoom Solar's accumulated technical expertise and role as a key player in scientific and technological innovation, to jointly support the basic research and development and industrialization of large-area cadmium telluride thin-film solar cells, thereby filling the gap in the development and application of high-efficiency cadmium telluride thin-film battery technology in western China.

III. Company Profile

Zoom Solar Green Energy Technology (Xi'an) Co., Ltd. is a new energy and new materials company specializing in the research and development and production of cadmium telluride and perovskite thin-film solar cells.

With a proactive approach, the company focuses on the product development concept of "BIPV and photovoltaic consumer electronics." The company targets diversified scenarios, including centralized and distributed photovoltaic power plants, new construction, urban renewal, new energy passenger vehicles, trucks, and photovoltaic consumer electronics. The company also supports the photovoltaic field of low-Earth satellite antennas. The company continuously optimizes technological innovation and focuses on the development of cadmium telluride and perovskite thin-film solar cells, actively promoting the integration of building photovoltaics in the region.

The company has invested 2.016 billion yuan to build the "Western China Zero-Carbon Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park" in Qinhan New City, Xixian New Area. The first phase of the park plans to invest 889 million yuan to build a 300MW CdTe thin-film solar cell production base, striving to create a future innovation hub for the thin-film battery industry in western China.

IV. Positions

>> Research Engineer (Perovskite Thin Film Cells):

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of new materials and processes for perovskite solar cells, and complete process development and efficiency improvement for each film layer of laboratory components.

2. Combine experimental data with theoretical analysis to propose process improvement solutions to improve cell efficiency, stability, and mass production feasibility.

3. Participate in project initiation, identify technical difficulties through literature research, develop scientific experimental plans and technical routes, and coordinate resources to advance R&D progress.

4. Quickly identify the causes and design solutions for technical bottlenecks encountered during experiments.

5. Lead the drafting and application of technical patents to ensure intellectual property protection.

6. Responsible for the daily maintenance of high-precision equipment (such as spin coaters and glove boxes), adhere to standardized operating procedures, and ensure the normal operation and stable performance of laboratory equipment.

>> Research Engineer (Cadmium Telluride Thin Film Cells):

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the development of new materials and processes for cadmium telluride solar cells, and optimize the process for each film layer.

2. Participate in project establishment, review literature and develop experimental plans, efficiently execute experiments, and resolve process/material issues.

3. Systematically analyze experimental data, write reports, and participate in technical discussions to drive breakthroughs in key areas.

4. Draft patent applications and protect and apply for research results.

5. Collaborate with the project team and across departments to promote technology transfer and implementation.

6. Responsible for laboratory equipment maintenance and management to ensure stable operation.

>> Research Engineer (Organic Compound Synthesis):

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design and conduct experiments based on project requirements, including reactions, purification, separation, extraction, distillation, and other operations.

2. Review literature and complete preliminary design of compound synthesis routes based on the literature.

3. Proficiently perform chemical reactions and provide comprehensive analysis of the results.

4. Conduct target compound manipulations and record data, and write weekly reports.

5. Based on R&D results, promptly draft and submit technical patent applications and complete patent applications to ensure effective protection of research results.

6. Responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of laboratory instruments, managing usage and maintenance records of laboratory equipment, and ensuring the normal operation and stable performance of laboratory equipment.

V. Qualifications

Required majors include:

Perovskite Thin Film Batteries: Majors in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or New Energy, with research in perovskite thin film solar cells preferred.

Cadmium Telluride Thin Film Batteries: Majors in Semiconductors, Materials, Physics, Chemistry, etc., with research in cadmium telluride thin film solar cells preferred.

Organic Chemical Synthesis: Majors in chemical synthesis, organic chemistry, and polymer-related research.

VI. Joint Recruitment of Young Talents through University-Enterprise Partnership

Category A Positions: Applicants must possess deep engineering or academic expertise in their field, have served as the head or chief expert of a major scientific and technological project, or have a doctoral degree and at least three consecutive years of relevant work experience at a renowned overseas university, research institution, or world-class company. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, be under 40 years old, and be in good physical and mental health.

Category B Positions: Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding performance in their field and have served as the head or chief expert for major scientific and technological projects, or have a doctoral degree and at least three consecutive years of relevant work experience at a renowned domestic or international university, research institution, or world-class company. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, be under 36 years of age, and be in good physical and mental health.

Joint Postdoctoral Fellows

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (generally within three years of receiving their doctorate) and possess outstanding research or engineering skills, possess the potential to become academic/technical leaders in their field, and be under 32 years of age and in good physical and mental health.

VII. Benefits

1. Applicants will be designated as Distinguished Research Fellows of the University, working on a probationary basis and signing a contract with the Joint Research Institute.

2. Applicants for Category A positions will receive an annual salary of 450,000-700,000 RMB, Category B positions will receive an annual salary of 300,000-550,000 RMB, and Joint Postdoctoral Fellows will receive an annual salary of 160,000-500,000 RMB. There is no upper limit for outstanding applicants.

3. Applicants will be based in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Applicants will be eligible for the school's talent housing program, as per the relevant regulations of Xi'an Jiaotong University.

4. Provide a good research platform, office space, and research space. Qualified professional master's and doctoral supervisors. The Joint Research Institute will provide research start-up funds based on project needs.

5. The enrollment quota will be guaranteed by the academic department. Selected candidates will be given priority support to participate in the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project" talent development program.
